November Newsletter

Hi Everyone, Thanks to everyone who brought in something for the club calendar, the calendar is now at the printers and will be available next session. Peter Nicholls gave a good demo last month, I was helping Graham with the photo's, but some of you told me that they learned a lot from his talk on seasoning and wood preparation.

Last months newsletter went as a HTML document, thanks to Widows 10. This months is a PDF and you should be able to open it, fill my inbox if you have any problems.

Something of a sad anniversary this month, it has been a year since the last comment on the club web site! Please say something if only to wish us all a Happy Christmas!

This month we have Tom Kittle, Tom comes highly regarded by other clubs and I look forward to his visit.

Christmas donation to EACH

Last month I asked you about the possibility of you making a few Christmas Tree decorations for EACH, (East Anglian Children's Hospice). The idea is to make some decorations they can sell to raise money to enable them to care for some very sick children.

The idea is to have as many as possible, keep  them simple,

keep them traditional

and keep them coming!

You have always been generous in the past to these appeals and I look forward seeing what you have done on the 9th November.

I have spoken to the manager of the shop in St John's Street and they are looking forward to this as well
